Jaguar XJ-S ( Pre-HE. Superb example, 1 previous owner )

Here we have a beautiful and increasingly sought after pre-HE Jaguar XJ-S V12. tipped by all the pundits to be the next big thing in the classic car market. This particular car is finished in the very rare and fantastic period colour of Moroccan Bronze. A superb example being a 1 previous owner car which has covered 80. 00 miles with service history. With the history is the original passport to service book with 11 stamps.  plus the drivers handbooks in the correct supersaver portfolio. plus receipts for the following work which has just been completed ( April 2016 ) And the car has only covered a mere 20 test miles since all work was completed.

All this work and expenditure ensures this big cat drives. steers and stops just as Jaguar intended.  These early pre-HE cars are now becoming increasingly sought after and quite rightly so. after all they were hailed as the worlds greatest GT. just read the contemporary road reports. you will see the XJ-S stood head and shoulders above its competitors  ( Mercedes SLC/Porsche 928 to name but two ) This particular car is in stunning condition. with lovely paint and nice straight panels. It still sports its original Kent alloy wheels. so often these have been changed for the later starfish or lattice alloys. The interior again is in superb condition. The Black leather interior is in excellent order. with NO rips or loose stitching. the door cards and dashboard are superb and the head lining which is so often sagging on this model is brand new. it has just been professionally replaced. The engine starts on the button and is turbine smooth and shows 60 psi oil pressure. The gearbox changes up and down smoothly and correctly. The only minor issue I can report is the air conditioning is not working.  due to the compressor being seized so the belt has been removed. compressor's are readily available. I have just not had the time to sort it .
