So here I am. reluctantly selling one of my remaining two RARE Buicks. I will also be listing a 1963 Wildcat coupe. only ONE will be sold.
One of my friends went to USA in 1961 and his buddy purchased this actual car off the showroom floor ! It was the most expensive model Buick released for the year and was fully optioned . Car was imported. properly converted to RHD and registered in Adelaide in 1962. and is still registered.
I ( first) purchased this Electra 225 Riviera sedan in 2001 (has travelled less than 5000 miles since then) . had the transmission rebuilt and a respray in quality Spies Hecker metallic two-pack on the pristine body. A mate wanted it so I foolishly sold it in 2002. it then languished in his shed. driven infrequently until I re-purchased it in 2014. Apart from a couple of tiny marks paint still looks brand new ! Chrome and stainless are excellent.
Much money has been spent on the mechanicals over the years. the 401 Nailhead and Dynaflow transmission run great. Cooling system has just been reconditioned. as well as new front brakes and a new centre bearing.
I have recently fitted a set of imported Vogue Custom Touring tyres which sets off the paint and cool original spinner hubcaps perfectly. Owners manual. shop manual and brochures are included.
It was difficult to put a price on this car. the paint job alone would cost close to asking price. I believe I am asking a realistic price. but will negotiate by phone or face to face. I WILL NOT DO IT VIA EMAILS. if you are genuine please call me 08 82701826.
