Incredibly rare and unique opportunity to purchase probably one of the rarest lowest mileage jaguar XJS cars available.

This jaguar has only covered an unbelievable 31. 00 miles from new and was purchased from jaguar Gloucester when it was 11 months old and retained by the same owner until recently. An incredible 27 years.

Only 100 Celebration XJR-S versions of the V12 5. 3-litre HE car was produced by Jaguar Sport. a separate company owned 50:50 by Jaguar and Tom Wilkinshaw Racing Motorsport. This car had a distinctive body kit. special alloy wheels and suspension and handling improvements. The first 100 of these cars were termed "Celebration Le Mans" to commemorate Jaguar's 1988 win at Le Mans and only sold in the UK. Between 1988 and 1989. Each car had a unique and distinctive Build number plate on each door panel with this car being No 072 in tungsten grey Metallic.

This XJR-S was used very occasionally for its first 10 years and always garaged and impeccably well maintained. It's been serviced by the same Jaguar main dealer that supplied the car in 1989 until its last full service on November 2014 at 31. 50 miles. the jaguar is currently on 31. 30 miles and is in dry secure storage. The car has been cherished all through its life and has wanted for nothing. It's as close to a new jaguar XJS as you would get with the benefit of being and incredibly rare model.

The engine and running gear and all mechanicals are in superb order. the jaguar starts on the first turn of the key and just purrs like only a V12 can. The engine bay is spotless and the gearbox and brakes are all superb.

The bodywork is stunning shinning show condition with exception of a few very minor stone chips to the wing mirrors and lower edge of the rear body kit from early use of the car. It's never been repaired or painted and is totally standard and original which is unheard of in an 80`s jaguar.

The interior is again in superb condition throughout. The seats are stunning with only very minor wear marks on the driver's seat. The carpets and head lining and boot trim are all superb. The headlining has recently been totally replaced with the highest quality available replacement that's guaranteed to last for the life of the vehicle and is an exact copy of the original. This has been professionally fitted to a high standard. The gas bonnet struts have also been replaced with genuine items.

 To Sum up this Jaguar is in excellent original condition through-out with an ultra-low and genuine mileage that is backed up by many old MOT certificates and service history. It's a very low owner car that has not been abused but been cherished and loved from day one.

Viewing of the Jaguar is highly recommended and I would prefer it.
