1972 De Tomoso Pantera.  A very nice surviving Pantera. it was stored in a climate controlled collection for almost 25 years. and is now being sold as the owner is getting elderly and wants to liquidate assets like this.
To begin with. I have some great documentation including the title from when he originally purchased the car in Sept of 1992.  At that time. it had 40. 18 original miles.  In 24 years it has put on less than 700 miles. most of the miles are from driving it to local car shows and having it in a few parades.  Mechanically. in the mid 90's he had a local speed shop install a bigger cam and a aluminum intake. install new brakes and a Pantera Performance radiator and cooling lines. This car hasn't been driven much since being purchased. and none at all in the last 10 years as the owner has aged.  I also have the Pantera Performance catalog that was in the vehicle.
The EXTERIOR is in excellent condition. that being said. the paint is too nice to be original.  No paint work has been done since it was purchased in '92.  The brightwork is excellent. the left front turn signal has a chip and crack and is pictured. Original mag wheels and vintage tires are nice. no cracking in the rubber. but if you want to drive this car regularly you would want updated tires for safety.
The INTERIOR is in excellent condition for its age. there are NO tears in the seats or carpets. the dash has NO tears or cracks.  The instrument cluster is in excellent condition. and as noted in the following videos there is some minor peeling of the chrome plating on a couple of the switch bezels.  The steering wheel is NOT the original. and we do not have the original.  At some point an aftermarket radio was installed and there is a aftermarket switch installed. I have not determined what purpose the switch serves.
The ENGINE always starts. the idle has the rough characteristic lope of a cam. which comes thru in the following YouTube video:

I have not run the car at length. on a cold start there is usually a bit of smoke upon ignition. which dissipates and then there is no more smoke (usually indicative of valve guide or seat wear). and at idle there is some blow-by. which would probably decrease if you actually ran the engine til it was warmed up.
The TRANSMISSION/TRANSAXLE shifts smoothly. with no noise or indications of problems.
The UNDERSIDE of the car is in normal condition with normal wear. I have included pictures of it on a lift.
