1970 1500 single port matching numbers (the best engine?) so factory disc brakes.
this car was a swedish barn find (well garage technically) standing for a number of years before importing to the uk. extremely good low miles original car that i gave an empi twist to.
tha car has had. br> new wheels and tyres. whitewall flaps. dropped spindles and shocks. full brake system rebuild. new starter. 2 very small repairs to the outer door shuts. thats all the welding it needed. this thing is rock solid. new running boards. doorseals. carpets. etc. etc. matching numbers original motor just serviced and new extractor exhaust. runs like a watch so i left it alone!. gtv stripe kit and rear scoops. grant heritage wheel. empi shifter. us plates and surrounds. red us rear lenses. 85% og paint (the bonnet and light surrounds were painted due to ice damage. lovely colour nicely patina'd due to swedish gravel chips which were just touched up as i didnt want to over restore it and loose that original feel so dont expect show paint (didnt show up in the pics). original and unusual blue fabric interior is excellent (some wear on drivers bolster) great headliner. erbespatcher under bonnet. but original heating works superbly. tax free and mot.
i have been using this as my daily and it is without doubt the best beetle i have ever driver. it drives like a new. car. fast and stops well too. very eyecatching and perfectly useable as a daily driver. could be retuned to stock easily as decals removable if not your thing.
house move looming and dont really want to sell but no room left on the drive! . car is in swansea
