1961 RENAULT FLORIDE CONVERTIBLE. THIS IS A RHD IMPORT FROM THE VERY DRY CLIMATE OF SOUTH AFRICA. OVERALL THE CAR IS VERY SOLID BUT WILL NEED LIGHT RESTORATION. WILL NEED UK REGISTERED BUT I HAVE ALL THE NECESSARY PAPERWORK AND CONFIRMATION THAT THE VAT AND DUTY HAS BEEN PAID.  
THE FLORIDE NAME WAS USED FOR THE EXPORT MARKET BUT IN THE UK AND US THIS WAS KNOWN AS A CARAVELLE.
BODY - 1961 RENAULT CARAVELLE CONVERTIBLE WHICH IS SOLID. THERE IS EVIDENCE OF A FEW REPAIRS OVER THE YEARS BUT IN GENERAL ITS VERY GOOD. PAINTWORK HAS A FEW BUBBLES AND BLISTERS. COULD BE USED AS IT IS BUT WOULD BENEFIT FROM BEING TIDIED UP OR REDONE.  THE ROOF HAS NO RIPS OR TEARS BUT THE STUDS THAT LOCATE IT ON THE SIDES OF THE QUARTERS ARE MISSING. THE ROOF FRAME FOLDS UP AND DOWN OK BUT ONE SECTION IS BROKEN AND WILL NEED A WELD.  
MECHANICALS - CAT STARTS. RUNS AND DRIVES. WOULD BENEFIT FROM A SERVICE AS BEEN OFF ROAD FOR SOME TIME. CLUTCH CYLINDER HAS A LEAK. IF YOU TOP IT UP IT WORKS BUT WILL EVENTUALLY LOSE THE FLUID. BRAKES ARE OK.  GEAR LINKAGE FEELS A BIT WORN. YOU CAN SELECT ALL GEARS BUT LINKAGE A BIT VAGUE. STEERING COLUMN SWITCHGEAR IS CRACKED AND WILL NEED REPLACED. IGNITION SWITCH HAS BEEN REPLACED BY AN AFTERMARKET ONE.  
INTERIOR - SEATS ARE GOOD AND TIDY BUT WILL NEED A BIT OF A CLEAN UP. DASH AND CARPET IS GOOD.  
WHEELS - ULTRA RARE DELTA MICS 3 STUD ALLOYS AS SOMETIMES FOUND ON RENAULT GORDINIS.
