The Karmann Ghia combined the chassis and mechanicals of the Type 1 (Beetle) with styling by Luigi Segre of the Italian carrozzeria Ghia and hand-built bodywork by the German coach-builder Karmann. Under the hood of this one is a 1600 cc dual port engine with a 3 speed auto stick. This vehicle is numbers matching and garage kept the last 24 years in upstate New York.
