1957 Oval beetle just arrived from Sweden. The story is it has been stored since 1973 butthis is unsubstantiated.
This is an unfinished restoration project. The last owner in Sweden hadthe body off and had carried out various repairs to a high standard (rear quarters / sill ends etc ).  It still requires ;work to both jacking points. the rear sections of the heater channels (under the back seat) . nbsp;and minor repairs to the rear floorpans.  On the plus side the front and rear valances are original and in very good shape. The doors. ings and engine lid are all rust free. The bonnet has minor rust on the nose. Mechanically it will all need checking as i have not had it running . It needs a starter motor whichi am trying to obtain. The engine turns by hand and is all original. All the missing parts are with the car. (see picture ). Rear lights . semaphores etc. It will need one rear wing and an exhaust. The headlining is good and original. it has quite nice interior trim but the drivers seat is from another car. It has the accessory gearshift lock and cruiser pedal. I genuinely believe this is a fairly straight forward project. I have tried to be as honest as i canin the description but may well have missed something. The car is located in Enfield EN1. Viewing is not a problem and recommended.  Please ask any questions and i will get back to you asap. I have completed the NOVA for this vehicle but do not have a log book so a dating certificatewill be required. No paypal please.
