This is a really great car. It's a two door hard top. nbsp;the engine was rebuilt at about 80. 00 mi.  The interior is new. with Dynamite throughout. (seats and carpet. factory patterned). The dashpd has a crack. has dash cover. The tires and breaks are near new. Maybe 2500 mi at most. The shocks are new. The muffler is new. The transmission shifts perfectly. The glass is good. no cracks or delaminating. all factory. Most all the weatherstripping is new (except wind wings). as is the trunk rubber. The trim is complete. bumpers could use fresh chrome but still shine. no rust or pits. The undercarriage is solid. no rust at all. All lights. turn signals. heater-defroster and wipers work perfectly. the clock periodically . The paint is getting weak. laking on the left front fender and along a section of the hood peak. There is bubbling above the rear wheel arches. however there are no signs of rust either inside (from trunk side or wheel wells) possibly a body seam that was leaded. The problem is in the same spot on both sides. There is slight blistering on the roof above the drip rail over the doors. again. seems to be a paint issue. not rust. The black section on the roof I had painted. no issues. Absolutely no rust in fenders. seams. around windows. car is solid. Cooling system works great. I've driven the car to Vegas from Newport Beach in 100 degree+ weather a number of times with no issues. Does not use oil. smoke or load-up. Drives straight and very comfortably. Buyer must arrange shipping. or. this is a real drive it home car. Please contact me with questions. I've looked at a lot of 990's. though there are only a few coupes around. Even though this needs paint at some point. it's still one of the best out there.

I did a closer inspection on the top of the wheel well. There is some rust showing (I scraped open a couple of the bubbles). However. I looked closely at the inside of the wheel well from underneath.  as well as the inside of the trunk. and there is no rust evident. Makes me think the the paint prep was weak in those areas. I'm still thinking there is a factory seam at this point.  Again. there is absolutely no rust in any area of the chassis . nbsp;floorpan. trunk. fender corners base of the windshield or rear backlight. hood. trunk. This is a very solid daily driver no smoke. hiccups. carb issues. nada. Just start & drive. Questions encouraged. Offers as well.
