This jaw-dropping gorgeous Silver 1957 Porsche 356 Speedster replica is virtually brand new and is an extremely high quality build from one of the most reputable builders in the industry. Beck.  This Speedster is truly a joy to drive and with just 2500 miles is essentially brand new! I recently acquired this awesome Back Speedster from a gentleman who I had purchased a Panoz AIV Roadster from 3 years ago.  After he sold me that awesome car he purchased this Beck Speedster from a dealer in Colorado who ordered it directly from Beck. Essentially it is a one owner car and I can assure you that the gentleman who owned it was meticulous with his cars and always maintained them properly.  I had the car transported to me in an enclosed trailer and the driver called me to tell me how gorgeous this car was. Sure enough it rolled off the trailer in immaculate condition inside and out.  The original owner was having some severe back issues and he could no longer get in and out of this little sports car comfortably so he decided it was time to let it go. This is the 12th Speedster Replica I have owned and only the 2nd Beck.  Beck has been around since the 1980's and has offered a superior product with the finest craftsmanship. If you explore the internet and some of the Porsche Speedster Forums you will read about the consistency and quality that Beck has been known for that keeps them one of the leaders in the business.  What many people prefer about the Beck Speedster replica is that it is built on a custom tubular steel chassis with hand laminated bodies. These are not built on older VW pans that have been cut up and welded together.  The quality is truly top notch and the fit and finish is extraordinary and duplicates the authenticity of the original amazingly.  This particular Beck Speedster is titled as a 1957 Beck Speedster which will make it extremely easy to register and title is most states.  I will do my best to provide enough large images. a video so you can hear it start up and running. and an honest description to help you decide if this is the one you have been waiting for. The hand laid fiberglass body on the Beck Speedster is top notch and the body of this Silver '57 replica looks virtually brand new with just 2500 miles on it.  This car was always pampered and garage kept!  I took pictures at various times of the day and some shots are inside my showroom. The pictures really do not do the car justice as I think it looks even nicer in person and the Silver/Black combination is extremely period authentic.  You will be very impressed with the fit and finish. Doors open and shut like a newer Porsche. This particular car has a few upgraded accessories on the exterior including front and rear bumper guards.  mesh headlight grills and the added passenger side view mirror. The sun dances off the Silver metallic paint so any white spots you may see in the pics are merely from the sun.  I hesitate to say the body is flawless as there may be an extremely tiny rock chip or two but believe me it is close to perfect as I think you will find.  All of the chrome. badging. and trim look like new.  Here is a walk around photo tour of the body:


Although there is no question that the best way to enjoy driving this Speedster is with the top down. it is also nice to know that if needed this Speedster does have a high quality German Haartz cloth top upgrade that goes up and down easily and seals up nicely.  There are also clear window inserts that insert in to the doors easily to seal up the cabin completely when needed. The original owner never needed these so he only removed the film on one of the clear window inserts but of course both of these will be included and are shown below. Another nice optional upgrade that is included is a full length cloth tonneau cover that can be quickly installed if you are leaving the car somewhere for an extended period and want to protect the interior.  It zips down the center so it can remain on when driven by zipping out the drivers side.  When the convertible top is down there is also a matching canvas boot cover for a nice clean look.  Check it out:

Complimenting the gorgeous Silver metallic exterior is a beautiful black leather interior.  Great authenticity from the front racing style seats just like the original 1957 Porsche 356 would have had.  They are very comfortable and Beck uses a very nice leather on their interiors and the seats show almost no wear at all.  Period correct simplistic VDO gauges adorn the dash.  Speedometer. tachometer and odometer read in metric kilometers.  I was driving this Speedster on the highway. looked down at the speedometer and was cruising at 120. Kilometers that is. equal to about 75 mph. An optional VDO clock was also installed neatly in the dash and a nice Meistershaften Dash Badge and grab handle on the passenger side. Beautiful Nardi wood steering wheel.  Nice Chrome door pulls and a beautiful wood shift knob.  This Speedster will come with 2 sets of floor mats. a black custom embroidered set and a Black/Blue/Off-white set of Cocoa mats. For those of you who enjoy your music a very nice Kenwood AM/FM/CD/MP3/USB stereo with 4 speakers has been neatly mounted under the dash with speakers professionally installed in the door panels.  For safety both driver and passenger have a 3-point seat belt.  Just a beautifully designed interior in like new condition! This Porsche Speedster is far from being just eye candy. it is truly a joy to drive and will get up and go and handles the road beautifully. I have owned a wide variety of sports cars. classics. muscle cars and Hot Rods over the years but these Speedsters always leave a smile on my face.  There is a serious fun factor to driving this car and it attracts a crowd wherever it goes. I had people of all ages giving me thumbs up during my test drive more than most of the classics I take out.  Again. with just 2500 miles. the 1915 cc dual carbureted motor has really just been broken in and pulls hard through all 4 gears.  I am pretty certain this is a CB Performance built motor and was hand assembled with the highest quality of parts and Beck has had a 30 year relationship with them.  I took this car on a very nice test drive locally and on the highway. It cruises at 75 mph nicely and runs through the gears beautifully. It has the 3. 88 Freeway flyer transmission and also has a Pro Street Transaxle upgrade.  Handling is great and as you can see this Speedster has a great stance and also has the upgraded Wide 5 Bolt Pattern wheel that is powder coated in gray and has a beautiful set of chrome hub caps. Or. you can remove the hub caps for more of an outlaw look with these wheels. This Speedster will bring you to a stop with ease thanks to the upgraded 4 wheel disc brakes. Great tone from the dual exhaust with the twin tip ceramic coated exhaust.  As you can see the engine compartment and undercarriage looks great and you may also notice the heater box and tubes for those of you who live in the colder climates.  I have also attached a video so you can hear this Speedster start up and running so be sure to listen to that as well.  
The front trunk area is also nicely finished in black carpeting to match the interior. Another great feature of the Beck compared to some of the other builds is that the Beck also has a matching spare in the front trunk area if needed.  This car also comes with a factory manual from Beck and as you will see the vin# is attached to a metal plate on the inside of the drivers side door jam and there is another one in the front trunk area.

My recent experience with these Porsche Speedster Replicas is that they do not last long. the demand seems to have increased. as it should for a car that offers such a great value at the fraction of the cost of the real deal.  This is truly a sun in your face. wind in your hair. rare and eye catching roadster that you can take to any car show or cruise-in or enjoy any day of the week!
