1965 Mercury Comet for sale
Current customer rating: (156 votes ) based onSUPER SOLID Oklahoma car w/ recent restoration - thousands spent on re-chromed & new parts!
I have owned a few Cyclones and this is the nicest one. The body is really nice and straight! I still have all of the old Oklahoma receipts / registrations. This car has lived most all of it's life in a desirable climate so it's really super solid and runs great. Having said that it's certainly not perfect. There are paint chips. paint anomalies and such other small items that keep it from being 100%. Trim is the some of best I have ever seen. READ ENTIRE LISTING PRIOR TO YOUR OFFER.

Things that could be a little better - Missing rocker panel trim Paint has visible very small "fish eyes" that show up in direct sunlight (see fender close-up pic) Interior has been re-upholstered in non-stock material. nice but not original(2) small quarter sized holes in the headlinerOriginal AM radio assumed to be non-functional or has been disconnectedDash trim could better matched Center console needs to be bolted downTwo of the factory cyclone wheel covers (fronts) are lightly scuffed
Fine printCar can been seen by appointment in central PA during the time of the auction. It is posted for sale locally so I reserve the right to sell it outside of this auction. Once the car has been purchased absolutely ZERO tire-kicking will be tolerated. I would rather keep my car than to deal with that.
