1949 Mercury Convertible

I am listing this car for a family member as they do not have an eBay account. I can give you what information that I know and what information has been passed to me.  
If you are a serious buyer please send me a message for the owners phone number and you can call and get the info straight from the owner. Once again I am just listing the car and I do not own it.
1949 Mercury Customized Convertible. the running gear is from a 1972 Buick Skylark so it has a 350V8 Buick Motor. It has Frenched Headlights. 1959 Cadillac Tail lights. Chopped off top and shaved body.  The grille and bumpers are NOT currently on the car but it comes with the grille and bumpers. I included a couple of photos with the grille in. Back bumper is in good condition and the front bumper is a little tweaked/bent.  The front end is lowered and the back is not but just has some weight in it to look lowered.  It has Thunderbird Partial upholstery in it currently but what the new owner does to it is entirely whatever they dream up. The possibilities are endless and these cars are getting so hard to find in any condition.
Current owner has owned for the past 7 plus years but has started a family and this has just been sitting in the garage and he has decided to part with it as it will be awhile before he can do any further work on it.  It has been driven to some car shows the past few years and always turns head. this thing is a monster. lead sled. praise the lowered. you get the idea! The car runs great but I believe the speedometer is not currently working. The car is also listed locally for sale. so the owner does reserve the right to end this auction at anytime.
Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping and for all shipping costs. The owner will help co-ordinate with your shipper. Please keep in mind this should probably be picked up or shipped in a closed cargo due to it being an open top car.  This car does not have a top. it is wide open so keep that in mind. Local pickup is preferred. The car is Located in Idaho.

Will sell to the lower 48 United States Only. no out of Country sales or bids! Cash in person or wire transfer and funds must be totally clear before the vehicle is picked up or shipped. no exceptions!! If you want to drive down. wire the money to my bank while we both stand in the lobby of the bank and haul it home. that works great too!
