Introduced in 72 year as a replacement for the W113 series the 107 would make an unprecedented model run all the way through 89. For some reason whenever I see a SL I always see the opening scene from American Gigolo. and the sound track from Blondie playing in my head. This 81 is a great example of an original well preserved 380SL. Owned by the same family since 2003; this little 380SL has been garaged and was part of their collection of several classic cars. This SL was usually driven on the week end to various outdoor car shows. The exterior is finished in the classic gold reminding you this is a sports car.
