I bought her in November 2015. she had been in dry storage for 16 years and had just been re-commissioned by the previous owner with a new mot and all oils etc changed. I was informed by the previous owner that she had a new power steering rack and replacement boot floor before storage 16 years previously. It was obvious to me when I purchased her that she had had new front wings/bootlid at some point in her life. possibly replacement doors. She also benefits from a hard top which is in very good condition. Piranha electronic ignition. She did look tired when I bought her. bumpers/paintwork were dull. I drove her home 220 miles home and did not miss a beat. no overheating. rear axle slight whine but not obvious. I resprayed her in January. she was stripped down with bonnet/bootlid/doors removed. I discovered when prepping her that original colour was white. then had been sprayed green then white again. The body was in extremely good condition and did not require welding or filling. The paintwork is now bright and presentable but not perfect as I am not a professional ( I am very critical of my work) but everyone that see's her has never criticized the finish. I have done the following since purchase in November 2015:Respray / New Minilite alloys plus tyres/ New soft top plus frame has had new bolts etc ( still quite stiff as is new. will bed in with more use). Waxoiled everywhere when resprayed. New bushes/rubbers anti-roll bar and wishbones. Electric cooling fan. thermostatically controlled. All new coolant hoses. Oil/filter. antifreeze. carb breather hoses. air filter. coil (old one packed up). alloy expansion tank. Rollbar. un visors. rear cubby. door trims new black leather with white stitching. Replaced front/rear bumpers with very good quality chrome (not new). Partial replacement of some carpets + boot. Audi TT front seats (leather). Cd Player. elec aerial. new pedal rubbers.  There is loads more that I've replaced or improved. have loads of receipts for everything I've bought and replaced. Only reason for sale is that I have just started building a Motorhome. This is a good solid Stag that can be used daily and still enjoy little improvements with an enthusiastic owner.
