Up for sale in our Orlando showroom is this adorable little 1979 Leyland Mini. Initially designed as an economy car the Mini became an icon of the 1960s. It’s innovative transverse engine front wheel drive layout allowed 80 percent of the car’s foot print to be used for cabin/luggage space. This 1979 example was imported in 2004 from New Zealand and still has the New Zealand license plates. Fully restored with new paint. checkered roof decal. rebuilt motor. new clutch. new brakes. new tires. new rubber seals. and a new interior featuring ostrich skin style upholstery. Options include AM radio. hub caps. leather interior and radial tires. It may be on the sparse side but this plucky little car is a hoot to drive!
