This is a 1970 Volvo 1800 E. It is dark green with saddle leather interior. The car is in very good condition down to the back seat leather luggage straps! It has 44. 25 original miles on it. and it has always been kept in a garage. This car comes with its original three primer coats of paint and three color coats. It also has the original aluminum alloy wheels with steel rims.
The total production of the Volvo 1800 line from 1961 through 1973 was 39. 07 notch coop cars. This 1970 1800 E has a 130 horsepower engine of 1985cc and can cruise at over 110 mph with ease. It is one of the few old safe cars for daily use. It is very comfortable. Both front seats are fitted with adjustable lumbar supports. built in head rests and reclining bucket seats. A four speed transmission with electric overdrive makes for fast shifts. The electric overdrive lets the 1800E go faster while the engine goes slower. One operates this on the 4th gear by means of a finger control lever.  
The Volvo 1800 E has a self supporting body. and. for this reason. there is no chassis frame. The front and rear suspension . the engine and the gear box are attached directly to the body. This car is fuel injected. It has the B20E engine with the Bosch D Jetronic fuel injection and a revised camshaft. which produced the 130 horse speed power without sacrificing fuel economy. . Top speed is around 120 mph. and acceleration 0 to 62 mph is 9. 5 seconds. This model was the first with four wheel disc brakes.  
This Volvo sports car manages to combine the traditional Volvo attributes of safety and durability with a flashy style and high performance. It is in excellent condition.
