Here we have for sale our Iconic Mercedes Benz 420SL in Superb restored condition. ollowing a 3 year professional restoration undertaken at an approx. cost of £18. 00. he vehicle was supplied new by Mercedes of Glasgow in Sept. 1987 to the now disgraced Polypec International Plc at a cost of £39. 36. n the last 26 years it has covered approx. 149k miles (5. 8k/Annum) it comes with a fully stamped up service history and 23 Dealer stamps. the chassis number is WDB1070472A070858 it is finished in Schwartz/Blau metallic with light grey hide interior. The restoration includes the following. new front wings. new cills. ear wing repair quarters. ew boot lid. eplacement doors. ew windscreen. rand new front bumper . omplete £5000 bare metal respray. rand new German original Equipment Mohair Soft-top. 6" Flat face alloys with new Avon Tyres all round. op End of Engine overhauled and reconditioned. ew fuel metering head. uspension overhauled and replaced as required runs with excellent strong oil pressure. eather to seats replaced as required. ew exhaust sections. Car drives superbly. ar really needs to be seen to be appreciated. t comes with a brand new Mot and has just had a major service and overhaul including new shockers.
