Ford Escort Mk1 n/a Cosworth

Here is my very very tidy mk1 Escort n/a YB Cosworth.

BODYWORK . Nice clean shell it has had a fair bit of restoration work in the past all to a very good standard all the usual areas. During my ownership it has had a replacement heater bubble with restoration work to bulkhead behind. new front crossmember. bonnet landing panel. rad support panels. ront outer panel. Replacement rust free bonnet and bootlid. Has no sunroof and never has. Bare metal respray to a very high standard.

 INTERIOR. As per a mk1 RS2000 refurbished wood trim with a satin laquer. nbsp;top class seats. new one piece carpet. new door cards front and rear. new rear parcel shelve. 140mph clocks. mk2 glove box fitted. xternal electronic rev counter with seperate switch to switch off. power assisted steering adjustable. nbsp;RS motorsport 3 spoke steering wheel. gigarette lighter socket. XTERIOR. New front windscreen with top tint. nos drop glass. re chromed front quarters brackets all powder coated black. new front and rear windscreen rubbers. 15x6 compomotive ml with michelin tyres x5. ENGINE. N/A cosworth by JEM ENGINES incoporating 200 small turbo block. wossner forged pistons. td cosworth crank. ported and polished 2wd head. ent cams and pulleys. New weber 45s. ignition by H&H. ew wasp alternator. Edge reduction starter. urton flywheel. AP organic clutch and plate. EARBOX. BGH geartech long first close ratio helical heavy duty. RS 2000 alloy bellhousing. Hydraulic clutch. XLE. FOSTEK baby atlas two piece shafts 3:7 quafe atb. cosworth rear calipers. FRONT BRAKES and SUSPENSION. Wilwood big brakes on front mintex 1144 pads. adjustable track control arms. twin cam anti roll bar. double width kit. apri 2. 8 bilstien struts. 70lb lowered front springs. 2. 4 quick rack from squires. grp4 steering joint. rear multi leafs from squires. bilstein shocks. Ashley exhaust maifold to stainless steel system not loud.

This car drives nice and has been built to do exactly that its happy in a traffic jam. on a motorway or flying round the highlands of Scotland it has done at the most around 4000 miles since all this was done and has been on the road for 3 seasons it has done the 2011 Highland Tour 2012 Lakes Tour . it was also on show at the Portrush ford fair Northern Ireland in 2012.
