Hello Rambler Fans! Here is a Rare Original Wagon with "Patina Paint".

This is a Great original Rambler Classic. with nice "Patina Paint" A Rare Classic 770 Cross Country Station Wagon! Ready to drive and have fun with today. All the mechanical issues have been addressed to be a daily driver condition. summer fun car.

Very Solid overall body. rust free floors and rear cargo area from a very dry climate. all preserved well with very nice patina red paint. now showing over the Original Factory gold and white two-tone factory base paint- code 42-72. Could not repaint the car. the patina is too nice- if you like that style! Car is a mid size attention getter and has the look! A Mini Nomad styled slant pillar Wagon. Chevrolet Nova. Malibu Station Wagon look. in the unique smaller wagon arena. Much smaller than the huge bulky wagons. and gets a lot more women liking the drivability of this wagon. The car sat many years before getting it out of dry storage and off the farm. Overall Body is great. has had some dings and small dents. but there is NO BONDO anywhere on this car it has had the minor dings hand dollied out and straightened as to not use any new primer. or bondo. or any repaint. Everything is original- metal wise and body wise. what you see is what it is- 100%. This car was painted many years back Regal Red. over the original Factory paint and it has had many years of patina sun wear that only time can produce. We could not bring ourselves to re-paint the car. so left it up to the next owner to make that choice. The car would be a good economical grocery getter now with the original 6 banger in there. but boy would this be nice with a big V8 in there! Everything works good as of today. wipers are slow at times vacuum. (find electric would be better!)

Glass is all very good. passenger front door has a small hidden chip on top. no issue. Back gate glass has scratches and wear lines. front windshield is Brand New! $400+. Weatherstrip is mainly ok. some areas is getting rotten and dry. Doors. windows. all operate great. Rear Gate works great and lighting for inside rear cargo area. Lights. blinkers all work. dash lights all work. AM Radio and Clock all Work! Fan works. (Heat is adjustable only from a under hood bypass valve for now) All New brakes all around. New everything under the hood- all the small stuff. but it all adds up ! All New Radial Tires. Custom Riddler 5 spoke wheels. Some extra old parts in storage area. Very nice and original dry luggage & spare tire compartments. with 3 original hubcaps. No spare tire but has a jack and original mounting hooks. wing nuts.

Notes: Will need new muffler soon & possible pipe extension. Starter is loud as engaged. not sure why. might need shim. it is brand new. Thanks

Driven everyday use locally. very neat car. many looks and they always say nice Chevy! - until they look closer! What is that! RAMBLER? Crazy fun thou. Well if your looking for a very fun unique smaller wagon. here it is. A very rare one at that. not many like this anywhere left.
