Here we have an amazing. original. extremely low mileage example of the excellent MGB Roadster. This stunning car has covered only 5900 Miles from new. cared for by 1 careful owner from new. This is part of a small collection of cars the owner has. all carefully looked after. This MGB has always been garaged. never driven in the wet or salty roads. Throughout its 35 year life. this MG has been looked after by 3 local classic cars specialists. all keeping on top of any maintenance etc. Obviously with this mileage. no major items have needed replacing. But its has a new MG Owners Club exhaust. the head has been upgraded to used unleaded fuel. stereo fitted (came from MG with no stereo). tyres all replaced in the last 50 miles (the originals were amazingly ok. but owner worried about age).
Finished in Bright Red. this example looks stunning. Its amazing to think this car is all original. look at the deep all over shine. this car has to be seen to be believed. Obviously its got the odd stone chip. small marks. but really as you can hopefully see from pictures and video. its looks amazing. This is original paint. its not been resprayed. just carefully looked after.
It was rust proofed ‘Ziebart' treatment when a few days old. This involved protecting the underside. box sections. inside doors etc. under bonnet etc. Well its certainly worked. this car is just as good underneath.
Inside it comes with the original cloth seats. carpets etc. Well this condition in here is just as impressive. All the guages work perfectly. the steering wheel for example still looks and feels brand new. It really is like driving a 3 year old car. back in the eighties.
The original roof is in excellent condition. still Dark Black. not faded by the sun. clear rear screen etc.
This lovely car is such fun to drive. the engine is extremely responsive and the gearbox with overdrive all performs as it should.
