A gorgeous and super value for money early Rolls Royce Silver Shadow I

First registered on the 26th March 1971 to the supplying Rolls Royce dealer H. A Fox and then to the first private owner a Mr Jarvis a few days later on the 1st of April 1971

Fantastic colour combination of Willow Gold with the much rarer black leather and walnut trim

The Shadow has a large and fascinating history file which dates back to January 1972 and includes service records. correspondence from Rolls Royce. copies of old log books (including the original old style log book) a list of previous owners with the mileage recorded at each change of owner as well as a record of previous private registration numbers

The bodywork was restored around 10 years ago with some photographic evidence and is in good solid condition with no issues to worry about. The wheel arches are all excellent. boot lid. door skins etc. all the same (see pictures) Some areas of old colour evidence in boot. around inside of doors etc. but this is to be expected

The paint and chrome work are holding up very well (ten year old restoration) and all is smart and bright. with a few areas of normal to be expected deterioration and some recent parking scrapes to the front left wing and a couple of parking bruises and light rust on the chrome bumpers. all of which are easily rectified if need be…a matter of choice

The black leather trim is fantastically creased and patinated all over. You cannot reproduce this look - it takes 45 years to create it and again. its a matter of taste. but you can keep it original or restore the leather at some point in the future.   There are a couple of splits along the creases on the passenger seat. but easy to live with

The woodwork is faded in places as you'd expect. some flaking and lifting in areas too. but all natural and all part of the cars character

Mot certificates dating back to 1984

Tax discs back to 1996

Originally factory supplied red and changed to Willow Gold over Green around 1984.   Then 10 years ago when the body was restored. it was fully painted in Willow Gold

One owner for the past 10 years and maintained during his ownership using a local garage

The mileage shows as 25. 00 (125. 00) and working through the history file. its obvious that this is most certainly correct

A very genuine and honest car and because of its lovely colour combination and great history file. really does have bags of potential to improve over time if you wanted too. or just perfect as it is to use and enjoy

Its bursting with character and will only increase in value

Recently MOT'd. serviced and a new set of tyres fitted

Road tax free and classic fully comprehensive insurance is under £100!

An appreciating and beautiful classic and great value at £8950
