Private Sale - Only 2 owners from new Just got back from a lovely drive hence the new header photograph.
This is 'Anthony' a beautiful Jaguar which has covered just 5000 miles since an extensive restoration. where vehicle was fully stripped (with documented dated photo's) completed in 2002.
Previously part of a private collection hence the minimal miles since completion.
Massive comprehensive detailed history file. every receipt kept totalling over 16. 5K plus.
When restored work included: New paint in original factory colour (Regency Red). nbsp; New chrome replaced throughout. Engine rebuild at 57K. Anti corrosion treatment. New stainless steel exhaust system. in fact far too many new original restored parts to list here. proof of all this is documented in the detailed history file which gives it the required provenance.
This Jaguar has absolutely no rusty rot issues. and no known mechanical issues. I use it most days only when dry and have had some very enjoyable trouble free touring throughout this summer. always attracting much attention where ever it goes.
The all original interior is very comfortable and the cabin is quiet in motion. nbsp;it does show some age related wear & tear on front leather seats. but shows a correct 48 year old patina. Paintwork is excellent but please expect minor age related marks as this is an older restoration completed almost 20 years ago. nbsp;it is not. repeat not concourse. to conclude there is no rot on this car. nbsp;it has been really well cared for during its life.
It has its original and interesting U. K. number plate (still on the car & sold with it) which has an estimated value of between £2. 5 - £4K.
The cars original tool kit is complete with all its original Jaguar tools along with its jack & wheel brace all still housed in boot and in as superb condition as the rest of this fabulous machine.
Needs to be seen & driven to be fully appreciated. it is a wonderful and easy relaxing car to drive.
Only 48 of this luxurious Jaguar model left now so a very sound investment for any classic car enthusiast or collector of rare automobiles and will only appreciate in future value.
Supplied new by Henley's of London in September 1969 making this one of the last true British right hand drive Jaguar 420G's to roll off Jaguars Browns Lane production line.
Presently it is a true daily driver car ideal for any classic car enthusiast. it is not concourse. nbsp;however it is definitely one of the finest examples of a Jaguar 420G in existence and would make a nice addition to any collection.

Has a current MoT and in use on dry days only.
