1973 Mercury Cougar Ford Mustang Convertible V8 Auto Falcon Fairlane Mechanics

This car has lived in Las Vegas Nevada since new.

Sold in 1973 by a Mercury dealer in Las Vegas and bought by me in Las Vegas from a local.

I have the Mardi report which shows the options and details of the build and delivery to Las Vegas in 1973.

Only 3166 XR7 Mercury Cougar convertibles were made in 1973

NO RUST ANYWHERE

Never has been any rust. All solid 1973 Ford steel

The hot dry desert heat of Las Vegas has kept this car free of rust.

The last Las Vegas owner rebuilt the car about ten years ago.

Engine was rebuilt and a reco transmission fitted.

The original auto was an FMX and the previous owner fitted a later model Ford AOD auto for the overdrive.

This auto was rebuilt before it was fitted.

A new roof and new front and rear screens were fitted.

The rear screen is glass not plastic.

15 inch steel chrome wheels fitted with new tyres

This car was rebuilt not as a show car but as a good reliable driver.

It's a Mustang. A 1973 Mustang convertible under the Mercury skin.

The car has full NSW registration

It is not perfect. nbsp; It needs the seat inserts replaced. All the power windows. power roof. power seat etc work

A VERY GOOD CRUISER AS IS.
