FORD F100 PICK UP 1972 V8 LWB EXPLORER full mot uk reg V8 ....not chevy

Ford F100 Explorer 1972 from Bakersfield. California. USAa ex camper top type with very little 'work' use1 year mot. may 2017uk registered recently imported. v5 presentit is a big block. not too sure if a 360 or 390auto transmission changes up/down no problemi drove it to and from mot and it proved very good. have had a few cruises about and its a good runnerno road tax (although would be free) will need uk number plates NOTE i have V5 presenthas power steering and brakes. cab heater (not tested. fan runs) no radio/cd. OMES WITH FACTORY STORAGE/LOCK BOXshowing low mileage. could be correct due to general overall good condition. hardly any wear to seats etc period wolfrace wheels and side pipes look and sound real nice. tyres are good all round (no spare)has many new parts. electronic ignition. leads. coil. x 4 shock absorbers. ( x 2 brake flexis only advisory on mot)steering wheel (grant) wiper arms and blades. door lockshas had a good overhaul to wiring. horn. flashers. wash wipe. battery leads. nbsp;all panels and door shuts line up real nice. doors close like a golf ! body has not many dings etc at alland all trims are in real good condition with not many dings at allseat is in very good condition. ear bed floor is very good. chassis/underneath is very good


it is a excellent base to improve on and could make a very nice truckit has been over painted in white at some time. this is flat but imo has character as usual petrol guage doesnt work. along with ameter etc. nbsp;bit of a smokey head. ave been told poss valve stem seals. common to theseand does not seem to bother the truck at all i have noticed a very small oil leak when parked
could do with the choke sorting out. bit lame starting up but good when warmed thruno headlining. (they were cardboard !!)  the trim frame is present.  (so glue up a piece of carpet !)  dash pad has a few cracks in it. no glove box linerx 1 hinge to rear drop tailgate worn but easily replaced. nbsp;
