Ford Capri GT V6 3000 '71 MK1 Genuine Matching Numbers VGC in VIC

Ford Capri 1971 coupe.   Genuine Factory Original GT V6.   Matching number car.   This car has had a major body restoration and paint job.   The car had never been damaged. but had the usual spots of rust such a A pillar bonnet edge. lower wheel arch.   All rust was professionally removed and replacement sections cut from a donor shell and properly welded.   The labour cost of this work alone was $5000.   The car was then resprayed in its original Jewel Green metallic (acrylic) with satin black GT blackouts.   The paint finish is very good. there are no flaws and no issues have surfaced after 5 years.   Car is always garaged and hardly driven. milage is original.

The car was delivered as a V6 with Auto transmission.   The auto was swapped for a Toyota 5 speed without any body modification.   The original BW35 transmission. shifter and brake pedal are included with the car if you want to re-install it for total originality.   Paint code I (Jewel Green) Trim Saddle Tan.   Wheels are the "Contessa" minilite look factory options.   Interior got new carpet. parcel shelf and switches. its a very tidy original interior.

Engine runs well. still has original WEBER 40 carb and air cleaner.   Gearbox is quiet and the car drives very well.   It will be supplied serviced with new oil plugs filer etc.

This is a very nice example of a capri. so hard to find unmolested original examples these days.

Car is for sale to people with cash.   Sorry NO SWAPS.   Also do your research and know the value of these cars. reserve is sensible and less than you could restore one for.   Pre sale inspection can be arranged for genuine buyers. my time is valuable so please no time wasters.
