here we have a 1976 cadillac long door hearse with electric casket table 3 way loader with suicide rear doors.
a rare car indeed with a 500 ci engine rebuilt only a few hundred miles ago and miles showing are original on the car according to the former owner.
he rebuilt the engine as it had a lifter tick and being very fussy about his cars he did the lot. new pistons bearings rings oil pump head work etc.
it runs sweet and the auto changes as it should. i have owned this car for near 5 years and its time to go to a new owner who will love it as i do.
the 3 way electric table works but does stick now and then through lack of use. the interior is in lovely condition and so is the rest of it.
the outside is quite good with a few blemishes and some minor trim damage and the paint is good.
it started life as a californian hearse belonging to a black funeral home and the lower half was painted purple but this was changed as the vehicle made its way to a new home in montana area for some years till it retired and found its way to georgia where i bought it from. it was only sold as the owner passed away and her husband was not into classic hearse.
its quite rare and most likely the only one of its kind in australia with the 3 way loading electric table. i have a casket i can sell as an extra un used of course!!!
