Porsche: 911 Turbo Coupe 2-Door

To those looking at this auction the 993 Twin Turbo Porsche needs little introduction or qualification – it stands out as one of the great Porsches.   Performance at the time of its introduction was shattering – the first road car to break an 8 min on a lap of the Nurburgring - and it still feels fast today.   It also manages to have low speed tractability and overall refinement which make it very suitable for touring or even commuting with.

This 993 Twin Turbo is a particularly nice example which is. in our opinion.  impossible to reasonably fault.   Presented in Polar Silver Metallic with a Flamenco Red Interior. and updated slightly with Turbo S fog light assemblies. the car  looks stunning inside and out.

While there is very slight  uniform wear commensurate with its mileage. there is nothing that sticks out as a flaw.   There are a few very small stone chips.   There is some slight wear to the drivers seat side bolster and leather gear shift knob. the Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 are recent but not ‘N' rated.   Mechanically the only item that has come up in two mechanical inspections is that there is some slight seepage from the rear differential axle seals.

This car has a clean CARPROOF. and no evidence of any accident or paintwork apart from the front bumper. which was refinished while the ugly bumperettes were removed. and Turbo S fog light/air inlets installed.

The exhaust appears stock. but the car certainly doesn't sound it– the previous owner hollowed out the mufflers making the car sound like a very angry coffee percolater at idle!   Also the car is outfitted with a GREDDY boost control unit. which allows increased boost up to a safe 1. 0 Bar. from the stock . 8 Bar. We do have another 1996 993 TT in stock at this time which has not been modified. and there is a significant difference in performance.   We can sell the car as is. or easily delete the aftermarket parts depending on the wishes of the purchaser.

It is obvious to anybody looking at the car that it has been lovingly maintained.   What the photos may not capture is the suppleness of the leather and rubber seals from a car that has been kept out of the sun. lack of any sort of corrosion underneath the car or in the brakes. or the ‘tightness' of the body – this car has had a good life!

US Buyers:

We can have the car imported with Duty. Customs and Brokerage paid. and delivered to most addresses in the continental US for $10. 00.  This car was originally a US car so there are no compliance issues.
