We are delighted to offer this rather pretty Rover Mini Cooper
presented in Almond Green with a Snowberry White roof. The vendor
has owned the Mini for the past three years; his son. owning it two
years prior to that. The Mini was originally discovered by the
family having been in long term storage with a car cover keeping it
hidden for some time. On removal of the cover. the paint. although
not severely damaged. had dulled somewhat. Our vendor's love for
the Mini began in 1976 when he first joined the 'Mini 7 Racing
Club' and he has been involved with the marque ever since. His
passion led to the decision. rather than just tidy the paintwork. br/>to strip the car to a bare shell. have it professionally dipped. br/>repaired if required and built to the highest standards. The result
is the magnificent example you see today.

Not only was the bodywork attended to but mechanically the
standard also remains to the highest level. The specifications
include a rebuilt engine. over-bored by 20 thou in. . taking the
cubic capacity from 1275cc to 1293cc. A Kent camshaft. light weight
steel duplex cam timing gear kit and aluminium front engine plate
and timing cover combined were supplied by DSN Classic. The
crankshaft was balanced with new thrust washers and steel centre
cap. A Long Branch Manifold (LCB) exhaust manifold is mated to a
Mini Spares RC40 system. The well respected tuning specialist. br/>Peter Baldwin. tuned the Mini on his rolling road and adjusted the
power output to 97bhp; a substantial increase over the original.
Virtually everything has been replaced or overhauled including the
suspension that has new rubbers. doughnuts and adjustable cones. A
new clutch. clutch master and slave cylinders. brake master and
slave cylinders. braided brake hoses and competition drive shafts
are also fitted. Many other items such as the bright work are new
but too numerous to detail here. To fully appreciate the effort
taken and standard achieved on this very attractive Mini. you are
invited not only to look at the topsides. but also to admire the
undersides. The interior is very clean and welcoming and benefits
from a new headlining. An MoT test certificate with nil advisories
is valid until January 2017.

With the 1960s chic look and a Mini that wants for nothing. we
think the estimate is set at a very tempting level.
