This is a really good Volvo Amazon four door manual car in lovely useable condition. The current V5 shows only two previous keepers since 1965 and the MOT is until 15th October 2016 and has no advisories. It is believed that the car was in regular use until around 15 years ago when it was put into storage for some years then recomissioned by the second owner. The last owner used the car regularly for the last four years covering around 3500 miles each year.

The car is solid throughout. he paintwork is extremely presentable with only a few minor blemishes. though the chrome is poor on three of the four bumper corners (these are separate from the centre sections and over-riders). The interior. often a problem with Amazons. is original and in excellent order with no cracks in the dashboard or rips in the seats or headlining. The original moulded rubber floor covering is in very good order too. The front seat belts are original Volvo and inertia reel belts have been added in the rear at some time.

The car starts readily and drives extremely well. The transmission is quiet. the gearbox and clutch function as they should. the car brakes and handles well and there are no unusual noises. smoke etc.

All in all this is a lovely classic Amazon which should give excellent service for many years to come. It can be viewed. clean. dry and under cover in our well lit premises. by appointment. You're welcome to a good. undisturbed look around. and a decent test drive to confirm your decision. If appropriate your mechanic or knowledgeable friend is very welcome too.
