The Austin Seven is one of the most iconic classic cars of the 20th century. They are the perfect model if you want to own a 1930's car as there is a large number of specialist suppliers that ensure that parts are easily obtainable.

This example has had over £8000 spent on restoring it to the condition that we see today. The history file contains the invoices for this restoration along with some old MOT certificates and some DVLA paperwork.

The car still retains it's original transferable registration number DXD349 and although this number has a value itself. we hope that the buyer retains the number on the car as to remove it would be a sacrilege.

Although the car is now MOT exempt as it was manufactured prior to 1960 it has recently passed an MOT which runs until May 2014. The Free Historic Road Tax until the end of March 2014 is on the windscreen.

Removable front and rear indicators to make the car safer for use on today's roads have been fitted to the bumpers although the original semaphores are still in working order.

The spare wheel is kept behind the rear cover which also contains a luggage rack which can be folded out if required. The engine has just been rebuilt having had a rebore and fitted with new pistons and rings.

The Austin Seven is well supported by numerous owners clubs who can be relied upon to help keep these wonderful historic cars on the road.

The buyer will be happy and proud to be seen in this car at any of the classic car rallies that are held throughout the year and it is likely to prove to be an excellent investment.
