This is a replica D-Type Jaguar made by E. R. Tempero Motor Body Builders in Oamaru. New Zealand ( Check out their website for pictures etc of the work they do. ) The body is aluminium. it was built in 1987. It has a 3. 8 Jag 6 cylinder motor with a Jag 4 speed manual trans going through to a Jag independant rear end. It has a full Motorsport NZ Certificate of Description and Competition Log Book with race details recorded from the time that log books were first introduced to Classic Racing in NZ. It has competed in various street races in Queenstown. Wellington NIssan Mobil 500 - Classics. as well as numerous Classic events around the country's race tracks. It has won the prestigious Sybil Lupp Memorial Trophy at Manfield Autopark and has been awarded peoples choice at the Wellington British Car Day 2011. It comes with 2 sets of rims and tyres. alloy rims with road/race tyres and steel rims with road tyres that were used for wet races. There is a spare diff head and also comes with covers for transportation and storage. It is currently registered for road use in New Zealand and has just had a new Warrant Of Fitness issued. This vehicle is in New Zealand.
