There is one small (1 CM) touched in chip on the N/S/F wheel arch edge and a small (2 CM) reaction under the paint around the boot lock surround. Overall very presentable and much better than most with no hidden nasties or bodged repairs. Interior is nicely "aged" with all leather facings in good order (including the roof lining) and very presentable veneers free from the staining & bleaching so commonly found. The only deviations from build spec being the addition of a 1998 Panasonic radio/tape/6 disc CD changer (boot) and the modern alarm/locking system with a very discreet steering cowl mounted LED. Being a 20000 series car it is in Bentley Turbo R terms one of the least complicated/most reliable years with regard to the cost of the ongoing maintenance that these hand built cars need. The First model in the series to receive the trade mark twin round headlights. steel sill extensions & sporting front/rear lower valances. Bomb proof column shift 3 speed GM box. simple but effective (and repairable) Bosch electro/mechanical fuel injection. no catalytic converters. no active ride control dampers (complicated & Very expensive to fix) & free from the cosmetic/electrical "enhancements" of the later updated series. A Very realistic ownership proposition with a normal classic car maintenance budget. I have personally covered around 250 miles in the car without any issues presenting themselves. Any inspections welcomed.
