1954 Silver Dawn.

This was a family owned car that had seen little use. being mostly stored upon a Scottish estate. prior to us selling it in 2008 into a Russian collection in Moscow. The car was very very little used during this time & has just returned to us for a full recommissioning service prior to sale.

The exterior paint is black over metallic light gray with a touch of blue in it which is elegance personified.

The paint is in lovely condition as it has always been garaged & as a result the car is sound & solid.

An exhaust valve was found to be sticking during the previous ownership & after the head came off. the then owner spent £8000 on a complete rebuild. rather than just fixing the valve. Such is the type of care lavished on the car over the years.

The interior carpets are good. as is the original light blue leather. which is patinated but in good condition. The front seats were recently re-trimmed so are in absolutely lovely condition. The walnut is all mirror polished in beautiful order & highly figured.

On the road the car drives perfectly in complete silence with supple taut silent suspension & none of the type of wallowing one experiences in higher mileage examples.

The car has been chauffeur maintained from new & serviced far more often than really needed in the previous owners estate's engineering shop.

The full tool kit is in its place in the boot in its entirety.
