1975 N - Triumph TR6 Sports Car

Finished in Sapphire Blue with The Original Black "Diamond Embossed" Vinyl Interior and Black Carpets.

This is a great example of what the motoring press often refer to as " a true Iconic - Hairy Chested British Sports Car " - and rightly so !.

The known history of this TR starts when the car was purchased by a Surgeon in 1984. The car was subsequently entrusted to a well respected Triumph Classic Car Restorer and was fully rebuilt with engine and glass out - all works carried out to a high standard.

The car was used little in the next decade and was sold to his next door neighbour over a glass of wine one summers evening. The New Owner sent the car back to the original restorers and had various mechanical and bodyworks undertaken to bring the car back to reliable & usuable specification.

In the last 5 years the car has been used sparingly and only on good days hence the mileage only increasing by less than 1. 00 miles in that period.

The TR has just received a detail cleaning in our workshop and we consider it represents an excellent usable example.

The paintwork remains very good and the panel gaps. a weak point on TR's. are excellent. the interior trim all looks original and carries just the right amount of wear to look period in keeping. The Wooden Dash shows no signs of discolouring or delamination and the steering wheel looks the original factory Item. The Black Carpets were all replaced during the rebuild and remain in good order now fitted with overmats featuring The TR6 Logo which is a nice touch - The Vinyl hood is in good condition and the car will be supplied with a Half Tonneau and Full Tonneau Cover . The wheels were all professionally resprayed within the last 5 years and carry good Yokohama Tyres with 6 mm + of tread remaining. The Front and Rear Bumpers were also rechromed 5 years ago and remain in excellent condition today. The engine bay is clean and tidy alround.

On Test Drive the car drives exceptionally well - with the engine pulling willingly and sounding sweet with good Oil Pressure both hot & cold.

The Car will be Fully Serviced prior to handover and will supplied with a new MOT

If you are in the Market for a TR6 and one you intend to use then I genuinely think this one should be right at the top of the list to look at - If it were any better it would be nearing late teens in value and you would be scared to use it ! - Great Value & Sound Investment.
