This TR8 is originally from South Carolina. The car has been re-sprayed with a very good to excellent paint job. There is no evidence of bodywork. damage or rust. The seats have been reupholstered and the car has almost new carpets and convertible top.
All the Lucas gremlins have been eliminated. Car has all new relays. all electrical connections cleaned. New parts include:
- Ignition switch
- Turn/Dim/Horn switch
- Oil pressure switch
- High speed radiator fans switch
- Rear brakes
- Accelerator cable
- High torque/gear reduction starter (half the weight and size of original starter)
- Exhaust headers and exhaust
I have a photocopy of the previous U. S. title which should simplify re-registering it in the U. S. I can also deliver it to Lewiston. NY 14092 to save extra cross border costs.
Triumph manufactured only 2. 48 TR8s of which 400 were coupes. It is estimated only 1. 00 TR8 convertibles exist today world wide. The TR8 is powered by a Rover 3. 5 Litre V8. This car runs very strong and is totally reliable.
