Chevrolet : Corvette Base

 WOW !!!  The most fun you can have with your clothes on !!!  I built this over 10 years ago and have had many miles of fun with it. but now it is time to let someone else enjoy the ride.   This car comes with the optional hardtop and a soft top.   The soft top is partially taken apart. new parts added. and a new convertible top material waiting to be installed. Chrome five spokes and radial tires can be found on this baby.   The engine is a 350 cu. in. four bolt main block. with many high performance internals added. Replacement cost on the motor alone would be between $12. 00. 00 and $ 14. 00. 00.   A newer four speed standard has been installed. and I believe it is a T-10.   This is mated up to a center force clutch assembly.   A posi 3:36 ratio rear end can be found in the rear. and works fine. A newer aluminum large core rad is found up front. The car comes with the original rad. a spare hood. with a hole cut into it for the blower. and the original hood. that is still in one piece. just in case someone wants to put it back to original. Basically all modifications are all bolt on. and would be easy to put this car back to original looking. I also have a spare trunk lid. that I picked up. just in case something ever happened to this one.   Many factory parts come with the car that I have never installed. - The glove box. ( or tray ) for the passenger side is new. but not installed. I believe that there is also an original used steering wheel. but I liked the feel of a smaller wheel. so that is what can be found inside. Sorry. I do not have an original wonder bar radio - Just the aftermarket am / fm / cd.    Hard top has been repainted - see pictures. and I will include the original motor that was in the car when I bought it - it is a 1966. 283 cu. in. . but not the numbers matching block. Please also see the trunk and the jack that comes with the car - I was told it is correct for 1959. but am only going on what someone else told me. I have an original tachometer for the car. if someone wants to use it instead of the aftermarket one.    Leather door panels installed. and seats have been redone with new reproduction covers. and foam. Very quick. and fun to drive. This is a very low production date 1959 corvette. as the VIN ends in 100027. so it was probably made on the first day of production. ( Rare ).   What you see is what you get.   Oh. a small issue. but one that I have never had to address. is the side parts of the windshield frame have little tabs on them from the factory to help aid in the tightness of the frame around the windshield - these tabs are famous for breaking. and mine are. but this does not hinder the functionality of the windshield. so. I have never had them fixed - even though there is a quick fix solution part available from the Corvette reproduction stores.   Not a huge issue. but thought I would mention it.   I have a couple of videos of the car - one with it running. and will gladly pass those onto a serious buyer if requested.   I do not accept Paypal. but a bank transfer will work fine. I have sold many vehicles on Ebay for friends. and now it is time for me to sell my own vehicle. The car is located in Edmonton.
