Offered here. quite simply is a very rare oppurtunity to own a rare low mileage Austin Mini Sprite finished in Primula yellow. I have not see one of these for a long time and certainly not in this condition. This Sprite has covered just 45k from new and has lived a very charmed life and is an absolute time warp of a Mini that is getting lots of attention at the moment.

Supplied new by Livock & Edwards in 1983. this Mini has had only 5 owners since that time and it still has its original dealer window sticker. reg plates and leather keyfob. It has been featured in two separate Mini magazines throughout its charmed life and been entered into many competitions and even has a couple of awards! The mileage and fantastic history of this Mini is all backed up with a detailed and very comprehensive service folder all the way to back to 1983.

Mini sprites were Austins first real attempt at Mini special editions and they featured full length decals. exacton alloy wheels. plastic wheel arches. black bumpers. mirrors and grille and of course that unique colour. The interiors were also unique and consisted of Herringbone seats. door pockets with speakers and the Clubman GT three clock binnacle with rev counter and 120mph speedo. This Sprite still has the lot and the care it has had over the years really shows. Only 2500 Sprites were ever made. the Primula yellow the rarest and very few remain today.

On the road this is one of the nicest Minis that you will ever drive. The engine is very responsive as is the gearbox and it motors along very well putting a huge smile on your face. The Mini has just been serviced and has a full MOT so its ready to be enjoyed. as you can see from the pics. the paintwork is gleming and she belies her 32 year vintage. The Mini also has a solid shell with good floors. sills and boot. as you would expect the interior is immaculate right down to the original carpets and AM/FM stereo which works very well. The exacton alloys are gleaming and she is yellow up inside the wheel arches. this Mini could easily sit with pride on any club/display stand as well as looking the bees knees parked on your driveway!
