An absolutely stunning 1956 Ford Thunderbird 'baby-bird' sports convertible in gorgeous. head turning. peacock blue.

A 292 cubic inch V8 with 2 speed Ford-O-Matic transmission. It comes with the rare continental rear tyre mount and also the side wind deflectors.

The car comes complete with both the lovely 'porthole' hardtop and also the soft-top.

The car is a one US family owner. it was purchased from the original owners grand-son. The car comes with the orginal purchase invoice and a lifetime of service receipts.

The speedo currently reads 12481 miles travelled but it is the second time around. It has therefore travelled 112. 81 miles in its 57 year history. as fully documented in the service receipts

The peacock blue paintwork is just beautiful. it has a wonderful shine & a deep lustre. it is just such a pretty colour and much admired. There is just one minor defect on the rear right guard.

The front and rear bumper bumpers are original and in excellent condition. The chrome on the bumpers. the continental tyre kit and the rest of the car is near perfect.

The interior is just beautiful. it is absolutely immaculate. The leather seats are in great condition and original for the car with no rips or tears. The dash and the carpet are in excellent condition.

The car starts and runs beautifully. it drives and brakes straight. There are no vibrations at any speed. it accelerates and shifts properly. It is a real treat to drive.

This is an excellent and original Thunderbird that has been pampered its entire life. it is a collector quality vehicle.

The car has recently been imported from the US and will be sold un-registered. The Import Approval paperwork is all in order and we undertake to assist the buyer to obtain appropriate registration of the vehicle.
