You are viewing a 1949 Ford F-1 Pickup. The vehicle was purchased from a retired doctor who owned the truck for 12 years. This is an older restoration. ONLY 6900 miles has been put on the truck since it was restored. When it was restored. it was all COMPLETELY gone through. EVERYTHING WAS NEW!!Two - Tone Metallic paint with lots of stainless steel & Polished aluminum in side and out. Paint is showing some age BUT still looks great. Motor is a 289 bored out to302. professionally built and balanced by Ethan Jones. Has new crank rods. earings. istons. rings. heads. alves. springs. rockers. ush rods. crane cam & lifters. oil pump. water pump. mallory Comp. 9000 dist. . accel coil. holley carb. . ntake with hedman headers.
Transmission is a Ford C-4. custom built with 3 phase shift kit. high volume pump. polished fluid passages. new flywheel. orque converter and B & M Star shifter.
Front suspension is new mustang independent. disc brakes. ower steering and tilt wheel.
Rear susp. is 9 inch ford axles. drive shaft. springs. shocks.

All rear end components and gas tank . heater core and motor. wiper motor. stereo and gauges were all new and installed within the last 4 years.

This is a SOUTHERN US VEHICLE. It was purchased 3 years ago in a town near Orlando. Florida. then shipped to my location. Therefore rust is NOT an issue. The three years spent in Canada have all been garage stored. I am selling solely because another vehicle has piqued my interest and I have no desire to have a collection. I am selling this vehicle for several thousand BELOW what it was purchased for just three short years ago(can be verified for the successful bidder). This is not a sale due to forced circumstances(i. e. need money). Therefore anybody looking for this quality restoration for nothing will be wasting their and my time by not entering reasonable bids. As stated earlier. due to my new interest. I am offering a really excellent deal to the person that displays common sense in their bids.
