Finding another Pontiac Star Chief Catalina 2 Door Hardtop as highly optioned will be challenging. it get thumbs up and a circle of people around it when seen and they just cant be found like this anymore and to acquire one with the desirable Power Pack optioned 347 CID V8 and Hydra Matic Overdrive Transmission is very rare. and try and find one with power windows. power steering. dashboard compass and power brakes! Most of the production models in 1955 came with the smaller 287 V8 engines. many were produced as manual three speed cars as well. this was an executive ordered car in its day with all the special order options and the only one we have ever seen with the big bad Power Pack 347!!! This car out ran anything in its day. and still to this day really moves.

Check out the Indian Head Hood Ornament!!! These ornaments in themselves will cost a small fortune to replace. And check out the Gold V8 emblems on the quarters. beautiful!

  The 55 Star Chief Catalina Custom was Pontiac's prestige model and in March of 55 they produced for a short period the Power Pack option; the car was easily identified by its chrome star trim along its sides but the elegance in the design didnt stop there. Pontiac outdid themselves and really made focused on making the car standout with the two wide "silver Streaks" down the hood. chrome accents everywhere. and the unmistakable grill design. and rounded back tail light wrap. just beautiful.
