Land Rover : Range Rover Vogue EFI

 This is an auction for a 1993 Range Rover Classic powered by a 3. 9 EFI V8. The classic bodywork has been replaced by a Traka kit which was produced by NCF Motors of Bishop Auckland. Yorkshire. England. The Traka bolts directly onto a Range rover 100 inch chassis. It is lightweight and the roll cage is manufactured from 48mm BS 1387 Motor Sport Association approved tube. The whole front end. with integral bull bar and galvanised steel bonnet. pivots forward allowing for excellent engine access. This all bolts onto the Range Rover chassis complete with galvanised side panels. galvanised inner arches and plastic mudguards.

   CHASSIS : 1993 Range Rover 100 inch wheelbase. Front and rear overhangs removed. Chassis is perfect and has never been repaired. All suspension mounts remain standard Range Rover.

   ENGINE : 3. 9 EFI V8. 185 bhp at 4750rpm. 235 lb/ft of torque at 2600 rpm. Perfect working order. No oil loss or overheating. Excellent oil pressure. Rebuilt in 2014 with all gaskets and seals replaced. Heads lightly skimmed. New cam. hydraulic lifters. timing chain and sprockets. New valve springs. New plugs. coil and leads. Vehicle has a top speed in excess of 100 MPH. I have a comprehensive service history for this vehicle.

   SUSPENSION AND AXLES : Fully rebuilt front and rear axles. New. black Teflon coated swivels. gaiter protected. New polybushes. 4 X new springs. 4 X new shocks. Even though the springs are standard height and loading they give a slightly stiffer ride due to the dramatic weight reduction over a standard Range Rover.

   BRAKES : Standard Range Rover. Discs all round. Rebuilt calipers with new seals and stainless steel pistons. New pads and rotors. stainless Goodridge hoses. New brake lines. New master cylinder and servo.

   WHEELS/TYRES : BF Goodrich All Terrains. 33 X 12. 5 R15. Spare is new with 13. 5 mm of tread. the rest are showing 12 mm of tread. Black. steel modular rims.

   GEARBOX : Permanent 4WD with limited slip centre diff. 4 speed ZF automatic. High and Low ratio. Completely standard and free from any defects. All seals and gaskets replaced. New transfer chain. New filter and fluids.

   STEERING : LHD and power assisted. I spent the Winter of 2013/2014 converting it from RHD. Quite a simple job thanks to the Land Rover construction. Light and precise at all road speeds.

   FUEL SYSTEM : The vehicle was converted to run on just propane in 2000 and ran perfectly until 2014. The Euro spec. system would not pass B. C. inspection so I had to change  it back to petrol. Two new 15 gallon fuel cells. New high pressure fuel pump. All new fuel lines. filter and 8 fully reconditioned. flow matched Bosch injectors.

   QUESTIONS : I have owned this vehicle since 2006 and imported it into Canada from the UK in 2008. Vehicle is registered and on the road in B. C. Canada. Due to the change in bodywork I had to pass a Structural Integrity Report which includes a steering alignment report. It also has to pass a safety inspection which covers lighting. seat belts. brakes etc. Auction is for the vehicle as is. Vehicle is located at V1E 0B2. B. C. Canada.
