The first owner Mr Broadhurst from Sheffield owned this car for its first 24 years and it was his meticulous ownership that has undoubtedly preserved one of the finest Triumph Stags you will ever see today. When new Mr Broadhurst had the car Dimitrol treated inside and underneath. all the panels are factory. this car has never even got close to a welder.
Over £8. 00. 00 has been spent on the Stag over the last 10 years to bring the car up to the first class condition it is today.
Receipts for this along with masses of history and paperwork also come with the vehicle.

Body & Paintwork

Outstanding. that's the only word we could say when we first saw the car. It's just outstanding. the wheels were replaced in 2002 with brand new ones. the paintwork was a highly professional bare metal re-spray in August 2006. and there is no corrosion. bubbles. or paint defects anywhere. and that's 9 years since the work was carried out.

This type of car is not our usual kind. we do seem to have an affection with the 1980s. but when you see this car you will just know why we had to have it. The triumph Stag is the kind of car everyone likes. but you just don't see examples in first class condition. there are several around for half this price. but they are less than half this car.

If you are after perfection. a car that will be a total pleasure to own then this car is for you. The prices of Stags are now on the rise again and the finest examples will soon be making big money once again. in 1991 examples in this condition were pushing over £15. 00 and that was 24 years ago.


Interior & Trim

When you climb into this car you will not believe its 40 years old. I guarantee you that!!
The carpets. the seats. the wood are all like new. The steering wheel was replaced with a perfectly matching Genuine Moto Lita. the carpets were All replaced in August 2013. and the over mats approx one year later. There is the tiniest wear on the driver's seat. but it's that faint its practically impossible to photograph


Engine

The original 3 litre engine. runs extremely smooth and quiet. during our test drives the car pulls extremely well and does not wander the twin stainless exhausts make all the right glorious noises when you put down your right foot.


Running Gear

During our test drives the car pulls extremely well and does not wander. the brakes are good and stopping give no uneasiness at all.
There are no rattles. or squeaks in fact it's just a total pleasure to drive. It's not often such an old car gives you the feeling of safety or security. and I really felt this when driving this fabulous car.
