Up for auction is a Blue 1990 Mitsubishi Magna TP GLX.
The car has been owned by me since 1996. Prior to that it was owned by a relative from new. I bought it from him when he bought another new Magna. Both owners are non smokers.
It is a 4 cylinder. 2. 6 L engine with an automatic transmission. All original equipment including AM/FM radio/cassette player.
The car has done 299000kms but the entire engine was replaced with a brand new one when it had done 95000kms. This was done by BP after their tanker driver filled the service station's unleaded tank with diesel and my relative filled the tank with it and damaged the engine driving back to Melbourne. Everything works on the car. The headlining is starting to come away from it's backing board. but that is reasonably easy to fix. The headlining is removed by undoing several screws and is then removed from the vehicle. The lining material is peeled off and then re-glued to the backing board using a can of spray adhesive. Not a major job. Alternatively you may find a good one at a wreckers.
There are some minor scuffs and scratches on the car from normal use and some stone chips on the front especially on the paint on the front bumper.
I have several other cars and as the rego is nearly due I am reluctantly parting with the TP as I hardly drive it anymore. It is in good condition for it's age. so I am hoping someone will use it as it is too good to sell to the wreckers. which is where it will go if it doesn't sell here. The car is being sold unregistered. I am happy to deliver it within suburban Melbourne to the buyer before removing the number plates.
Inspection is welcome during the auction at Dandenong North. Victoria. 7 days. afternoons or evenings. Message through ebay to arrange this.
Cash on pick-up is welcomed. Pick up from Dandenong North can be arranged B/H or A/H 7 days. I am happy to deliver it in suburban Melbourne to the buyer. but will then remove the number plates as it is being sold unregistered.
I am happy to cooperate with a transport company arranged and paid for by the buyer.
The winning bidder is asked to make contact within 2 days of the end of the auction and to pay for the items within 7 days of the end of the auction. Thanks for looking

Hi, I currently own a TN Magna with a lot of good mechanics inside but a not so straight body. I'm looking for a good condition 1st gen magna as a project to put the good parts from my current car into. Yours seems great. I'm very interested. Let me know if you are open to view the car.
