Mercedes-Benz : SL-Class Convertable / Hard top/

Pictures show the car in all it's aspects. ie with hardtop. without. convertable top and convertable. They also show the car with or without pinstriping!

Just out of the paint shop with a brand new paint job! All nicks. dings. have been removed.   This car is an amazing piece of history! A collectors dream! All Original except for the radio and the paint job which has just been done.

The car comes with both original wheels and modern so you can change it up now and then. Plus. this car has one of the hardest to find and in my oppinion the rarest and by far best looking color scheme. White and red!

The car also has the very rare back seats and seat belts! The back seats look and feel brand new!

I took the car to the mercedes machanics and told them to fix anything that needed to be fixed. I want the car to be able to have my wife and kids get in it and drive cross country without me having to worry or them breaking down. Here is work performed: * New Warm up regulator * New Fuel distributor * All new vacuum lines on engine * New power window swithches both drvr and pass side *  New convertable top * New Michelin tires on modern wheels as seen in pictures. The original are just the wheels as seen in the pictures * New Chrome on Interior seats and top * Wood grain dash cover and some extras you never see on the 450 SL * New head light Bezel frames on both drvr and pass side * New side turn signal lenz on drivers side * New Hood emblem * There is much more done to this car so you need to see in order to realize the detail and beauty of it.

Needed to be done: Passanger side door sill (Plastic Red) could be replaced * Seat belts on both drvr and pass could be replaced. work fine but getting tattered from use and age. * Valve cover gasket slight minor and I mean minor leak (The 2 new gaskets come with car I have not had time to install. * drivers side visor needs repair or replacement.

NOTE: The Title is a good clear title but states miles discrepency. The speedometer has been rebuilt and now works great! Also just pinned striped the car as seen in new pictures. I have never seena 450 pin striped so i tried it. Looks GREAT! I will remove if buyer choses not to have.
