Classic stlying combines with V8 power and extended-length comfort in this outstanding 1987 Mercedes-Benz 420 SEL. This is a true luxury sedan that is in excellent condition insdie and out. and it runs and drives like a Mercedes - smooth and solid.

The W126 was the Mercedes-Benz flagship line in 1987. and the 420 SEL sold for over $52000 when new. This one is really extraordinary - it is remarkably well preserved. showing  no obvious signs of age or wear and tear. The V8 starts right up and runs smooth. and everything on the car works. This car has just 61. 68 original miles on it.

The exterior is in great shape. and the paint shines like new all around  No dents or dings. The Carfax report shows no accident history or any other problems. You can see the Carfax at the end of the photo gallery.

Exterior features include integrated fog lamps. alloy wheels and headlamp washers.

The interior is also immaculate. The seats have no rips or tears. and aren't showing any wear. The carpets and door panels are also in fine shape.

Both front seats have power controls with memory.

The rear seat is also excellent.

Rear seat passengers ride in comfort. The extended-length  SEL model offers extra legroom in back. and there are A/C vents back there as well.

This Mercedes-Benz comes with a nice selection luxury and convenience features: Real wood trim. Power windows. central locks and power right side mirror; cold air conditioning;  and much more.  

Safety Features include pre-tensioning safety belts. a driver's air bag and ABS.

The wood trim inside the car is all excellent - no cracks. gouges or fading - just beautiful.

Please note that this car does not currently having a radio. I am getting a radio fpor the car. and it will have a Mercedes OEM unit installed by the time the car is delivered.

The power sunroof works perfectly.

The rear deck. door panles and headliner are all very nice.

The books are with the car.

The trunk is spotless - just like the rest of the car.

The 4. 2 liter V8 runs smooth and strong. Its rated from the factory at 201 hp and 228 lb-ft or torque.   It feels like more - you won't have any trouble passing on the highway or navigating through city traffic.

Carfax shows accurate mileage and no problems.

This car could be driven. so mileage may be higher by the time the auction is over.

 Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements.  

Wire transfer is my preferred form of payment. I will also accept cash in person or a cahier's check.

Paypal will be accepted for the deposit only.

If you are the winner. a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the car until the remainder can be sent or car is picked up. Final payment is expected within five (5) days thereafter.
