BODY & PAINTWORK
The bodywork on this Renault 5 is in great condition. with no corrosion present. and no signs of any bodywork repairs.

To find a Renault 5 GT Turbo in such condition. without having had any restoration work is almost impossible. most have had some form of repair or paintwork.

The black paintwork gives a great shine. and really sets this car apart when in a crowd. all badges and lights are also in great condition.
All windows are free of any scratches. and have the registration etched in the corner. as do the lights also.

Only one slight imperfection in the paintwork. which is pictured. This is a ‘burn' mark from over polishing and is not noticeable. we have had to shine bright light on the area to show the imperfection.
A truly gorgeous example of a very rare car.


INTERIOR & TRIM
A fantastically Retro interior. which immediately puts a smile on your face when you enter the car.

All gauges and dials work as they should do. lights and electric windows operate perfectly.

The carpet is without any damage. marks or stains.
New fitted mats are present. to ensure the carpets stay this way.

All doorcards are without damage. as is the headlining.

The seats are in fantastic condition. all material is tight and unworn.
Drivers lower bolster has a small amount of wear. as pictured. but is very minor indeed. and does not detract from the interior condition at all.

Dashboard is without damage. nice and straight with zero warping or cracks.

A truly impressive interior. especially when you consider just how badly these interiors tend to wear. even with little use.


ENGINE
This example runs beautifully.

No modifications have been carried out on the vehicle. it is completely original even down to the exhaust system.

The engine pulls nicely throughout the entire rev range. and the car does not smoke. either at start up. idle. on boost. or on overrun.
The car boosts just as it should do. and is a fantastic car to drive.

The cooling fan operates as it should. and when being driven the coolant temperature is as it should be.

A very well looked after car mechanically. and it shows when driving the vehicle.


RUNNING GEAR
As you would expect. with the low mileage and cherished history. all running gear is in perfect order.

The gearbox is a pleasure to use. the suspension is smooth and without any unwanted noises.
A very comfortable. yet sporty drive.

The brakes are superb for a car of this era. all wheels are without any damage and all have premium Yokohama tyres fitted which have hardly any wear to them at all.

A truly beautiful car to drive. as we found out on our 250 mile journey home with the vehicle.
