Dodge : Coronet Coronet

What is being Auction off is a 1965 Dodge Coronet modified into an A/FX Altered Wheel Base Car. This car originated from a solid 4dr car and has been built to the original Chrysler A/FX standards. This car has not been fitted with a roll cage yet. The pictures used were taken early in to mid 2014 as car was being built and moving along. This car has moved along further then pictures show. and I still have some areas I want to bring further as well.

Rear end was moved forward 15 '' and the front end moved 10''. As the originals. this car is a K Member car for a lower ride look. Front frame rails have been replace with 2x3 tubing.

All major work taking what was a 4 dr. 1965 Dodge Coronet and creating this A/FX Altered Wheel Base creation nostalgic car has been completed. This car is not completed. there is still  some welding which needs to be completed. but it is now an easy project for anyone with body work talent. or one with ability to build a hot rod to complete and finish if you have ever thought about owning a nostalgic A/FX Altered Wheel Base Car. This car was being built for street usage. you do as you please. I have grill. bumpers. and side glass. Side glass will need to be cut to fit by any glass shop.

Was not planning on selling this car as an un-completed roller but plans have changed.  I have several other A/FX projects and could use the room and the funds. This car is not junk. and it is not being sold because it is a project gone bad! If it sells fine. If it does not. that's fine to. This is a hard to find deal for one looking to own a nostalgic Altered. Chrysler only offered these rare cars in 1965. These cars KNOWN FOR WHEEL STANDING created todays funny cars.

Body is solid. as is the truck and floors. It would take little to finish this car which would make you the buyer a great A/FX Altered Wheel Base Car. These cars bring high dollars with Hemi or Max Wedge Motors. Nostalgic Altered Cars are back. and are very popular and make great street cars.

This car has a stock 8/3/4 rear end.  

This car is being sold as is where is.

Seller will help arrange transportation for shipping. but buyer is responsibly for all shipping costs.

Deposit of $1000. 00 is due within two days of sale. and balance is due within 7 days of sale.   Shipping time is buyers choice within reason.

This car could be brought to any further stage of Completion as a Roller you the buyer request it to be brought to. bringing it to a Completed roller stage placed in prime with body work completed for a negotiated price could be arranged.

I have a really nice drum to drum locker narrowed 8/34 with Moser axles with a 456 gear. nbsp; new super stock leaf springs. and the spring relocating kit. Non which are included in this auction.

So there you have it. When bidding. it would help to remember these thoughts. What would it cost to buy a good solid 65 Dodge body car. Forget this car started as a four door. Four doors make great candidates for building A/FX Alters.  Then think. what it would cost if you had a body. and then went to someone good and wanted them to transform your car into an A/FX Altered. Then think about this fact being.  Being this car is the correct year. make. and model to be a cloned  A/FX 65 Dodge Altered Wheel Base Car. having the K Member front end. What are the chances one would even be offered as a project. you yourself could so easily bid on. buy. and finish your way? But more so. nbsp;buy an A/FX Altered car so cost effectively. nbsp;install  your drive train and not break your bank account. yet sell for 3 times your overall investment?
