This beetle has only covered 5300 miles from new. It was purchased by Mr Panesar in 1998 and has remained his property until now. In 1998 the only place to buy a new Beetle was Mexico so he instructed a specialist importer to buy it on his behalf. He ordered it in Emerald metallic green with grey cloth upholstery. He opted for the chrome pack including; chrome bumpers. mirrors. stone guards. headlamp rims and chrome stripes. Upgraded alloy wheels were also chosen. It was also thought beneficial to have it rustproofed from new. He had owned one as a young man living in Africa and always thought he would buy himself a new one if he could ever afford it. Mr Panesar certainly could afford it. and this was an integral part of his family's collection. Now in his eighties he decided to sell as he spends much of his time at his house in Spain. The mileage of only 5300 miles is warranted and is backed by service history. As you can imagine the vehicle is in outstanding condition throughout. It represents great value at £8990.
