This car has been in storage for many years pending funds for a proper engine to be built and installed.

Most of the photographs you will see posted here are with the engine out so the stance is a little different in the video which is days old.

All work has been has been professionally done.   The engine is set up to run on pump gas and provides all the power this car could ever need.

Other than break in hours. this car has only be driven 12 miles and that was only so that I could be certain to state that the 727 transmission is in normal functioning order.   Take a look at the nipples on the Mickey Thompson's!   That is not a misprint. this car just had it's first drive after a years long journey.

Some the features include: 408/727 transmission. correctly tubbed. narrowed Ford 9” rear end (I do not know the gear ratios it was in when I purchased). coil over's. 4 link. GM front end and steering with disc brakes. painless wiring. reverse lockout ratchet shifter.   Car was originally equipped with a manual transmission. the clutch pedal is still present if you would like to convert it.   Comes with complete headliner (with bows) . carpet. rear and front side panels. 2 seats. sun visors and a box of assorted Plymouth parts. trim etc.

What it needs:  The interior is out of the car (decided not to go with roll cage).   You could bolt a seat into it and drive it. but to be complete. right side and right front glass. some exterior chrome. I would run a filler line to the fuel cell or you can put a blank fuel cap on exterior and leave it the way it is. a few light bulbs are out and the front end needs to be aligned.   Comes with exhaust.

The paint is obviously pretty sharp.   It is not perfect. expect some scratches. marring. chips here and there.

This car is near complete.   I encourage you to inspect this vehicle prior to bidding.   I am not a mechanic. the only thing I have done to the car is wash it and spend money having the work done.   I have listed everything I know about the car as clearly as possible.

I reserve the right to end this auction early as it may sell locally at any time.   I will work with your shipper. Bid with confidence I have never received negative feedback!

BP. /p>

I do not have the rear bumper or plate. the exterior is what you see in the photographs less a box of miscellaneous parts that it came with which includes some chrome parts that I am not sure what they are for. The body is all steel.

I purchased the car from an old man who appeared to have some sort of memory issue and perhaps it was selective but either way he seemed very confused about a large part of the history of the car. It was covered in dirt/dust and was not running. He told me that he was tired of spending money on the car and that he could not get it running so he finally just gave up. There was a mechanic there with him that had the top of the engine off who showed me a bent rod and told me that he did not know if that was the only problem with the motor but that he had basically given up and told the man to have the engine rebuilt. I wiped away some of the dust and could tell that the paint was good so I took a chance and purchased the car. I spent about 40 hours cleaning the car. I buffed. polished and put six coats of wax on it while I was in search of somebody to work on the engine. During that time I got to looking at the interior a bunch and thought “how hard can that be?” The headliner. visors. seats. side panels and seats are all there. There is also an upholstered piece that you would see (think of area where rear speakers would be installed in say an old Camaro) and metal sections that have clips all around them. The more I looked at it the more I realized that everything seemed to hing on having the headliner installed and those the metal sections mounted. After hours of looking at it I just could not understand how to install any of it. (more to come in another email ebay limit).

One day I was out in the garage and an old man out on a walk approached me and wanted to see the car. I told him about the issues with the engine and he let me know that he was retired but builds mud racing trucks as a hobby and was a MOPAR expert and would be willing to help me out. He came back with a truck and trailer and took the car down to his shop for an inspection. After tearing the engine apart he told me he was certain of two things. First the engine was damaged due to a dry start and second the car had never been driven. He showed me where the welds were not complete and explained what a bad day it would have been if the engine had run and I had attempted to drive the car. The engine was a plain Jane 360 and we discussed it and I was of the opinion that if I were going to spend money on an engine the car deserved something much more than that. He worked out a deal with the machinist and he and I came to an agreement for cash and old Wurlitzer in exchange for the parts and labor. When it was all said and done the transmission would only go into reverse. He was so frustrated he gave me a transmission just so he could test drive the car! He drove it for a few miles and told me that he could feel the front end starting to lift under launch and recommended I get the seats installed properly installed before any further driving! I brought it back to the garage and parked it.

There is no rear seat. The front seats are bucket and the interior trim is all new but dirty as you can see in the example photograph of the door panel. The car is set up for power steering and power brakes. He said it doesn't really need the power steering but he would recommend the power brakes. The wiring is all run. The car does have headers and the exhaust is straight pipe with cherry bombs. I told him to leave that off because I enjoyed listening to it with open headers.

That is everything I know and have been told about the car. As I stated in the ad. I highly recommend inspection prior to bidding. If anything I have tried to understate the condition of this vehicle as I am not a mechanic and do not want any buyer to be dissatisfied for any reason.

It is the dead of winter here. I will post another video on my youtube channel later today. but the interior is as dirty as the day I bought it!
