1966 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

This car was born as a 427 Corvette with factory air conditioning. mated to a 4-speed Muncie transmission. It sports the correct big block hood. and a lovely set of side pipes. Today. the engine has been replaced with another 427. with casting number 3916321. indicating a 1968 model year block. The transmission is still correctly stamped with “S105938” which matches the end of the VIN of this particular Corvette. The trim tag indicates that it was born a silver car with a black vinyl interior. which is how it's presented today.

Taking a look at the car itself reveals a beautifully restored example that was done to the highest standard. All of the panel gaps are consistent. and the coupe doors close with the effort of a single finger and seal nicely. The side pipes look great. and the sound produced is like none other. Watch the video to really hear it. The knock-off wheels show beautifully. wrapped in thin-whitewall tires. giving this car a period-correct look and feel both inside and out.

Where this car truly shines is where many others fall short: the undercarriage. No stone went unturned in reconstructing this Corvette. All new bushings. u-joints. steering components. and brakes ensure that this car can not only handle the power from the 427. but that it can stop and turn as well.
